The 2025-2026 Jackson Township LADY JAGS are currently 15-0 and have won Team Titles at The Queen of the East, Lady Bears Invitational, Lady Minutemen Classic, Queen of the Hill Team Dual Tournament, and the Shore Conference Tournament. The Lady Jags are led by State Placers Ava Bonilla, Madison Rucci, Marlowe Donato, Jada Figueroa, and Briana Dugo, and are coached by Joe Lemke, Diana Strizki, and Tyisha Ramirez.
The 2025-2026 New-Kitt Wrestling team has competed at some of the top events of the season this year. They started out with the Beast of the East and Sam Cali Tournaments in December. The team won their 4th Consecutive Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex Tournament Title as well as the NJAC Freedom Division Title. The team is currently 11-4 on the season. They recently finished 2nd in the NJAC Tournament and have had individuals win titles at Sam Cali, HWS, NJAC, and 2 placewinners at the Beast of the East. The team is excited at the opportunity of wrestling in both the team and individual tournaments
The North Brunswick Twp. Lady Raiders, led by head coach David J. Saley, are currently ranked #10 in the state after defeating Trenton 42–23 on the Tornado’s Senior Night. The Lady Raiders hold a 13–3 record, with their only losses coming from close matches against Kingsway, Howell, and Jackson. This season, the Raiders finished runner-ups at the Ron Mazzola Memorial Tournament and the Rebel Rumble Tournament, and were undefeated champions at the Brunswick Brawl.
They continue to build on their success by becoming back-to-back Greater Middlesex Conference (GMC) County Team Champions, producing 13 medalists, including 6 finalists with 1 champion, and earning back-to-back Division titles after being viewed by many as entering a rebuilding year.
The team emphasizes hard work, accountability, and unity. In the wrestling room, the focus is not on boys versus girls, but on working as one group, pushing each other to improve.
With leadership from captains Mahwish Khan, Francis Peraza, Kaylee Chiapa Bendito, and Janiya Orihuela the Lady Raiders continue to move forward together as one unit, focused on wrestling and representing their program as a family.
Ramsey has a group of the hardest working girls, they are balanced throughout their lineup and make opponents work for every point. They have compiled a team record of (13-3) which includes one of their loses coming by criteria loses. They are headlined by senior their 7 seniors are the core of the program, which includes Isabella santanocito (19-8), Reese Rotonde (27-5), Elizabeth Pannuccio (26-3), Yulie Harada (12-9), Emma Cabrera (13-10), Paige Berger (21-7), and Francesca Muia (18-9). These girls are battle tested and work hard for every win. Our 5 Juniors round out our lineup with Vanessa Colon (21-9), Aarly DeLaCruz (1-3), Jayden Soliman (16-12), Anika Santos (11-12), Isabella Tirri (4-7). The Rams are BCWCA county champions this season and Garfield team tournament champs.
The Central Regional Golden Eagles girls wrestling team has put together a strong and steady season, currently holding an 18–3 record and earning a #2 ranking in New Jersey. The team has faced a challenging schedule and learned from every match along the way, with third-place finishes at the Newton Duals and the Queen of the East Tournament, as well as a second-place finish at the Shore Conference Tournament. These results reflect the team’s focus on improvement, consistency, and supporting one another through a demanding season.
The Golden Eagles are led by senior captains Jade Hahn (4–0) and Liliana Alicea (25–2), who provide leadership through effort, accountability, and example. The Golden Eagles core of seniors have provided experience and leadership to the young wrestlers throughout the year. The seniors are Lilliana Comstock (18-9), Meadow McCann (9-10), Shayla Salinas-Gonzalez (6-5), and Brooke Twohig (16-9). The program is coached by Head Coach Kyle Watson, with support from assistant coaches RJ and Conner Shea. As the season continues, Central Regional remains focused on learning, competing the right way, and representing their school with respect and pride.
The 2025–2026 Morris Hills wrestling team has had a strong season, posting a 15–3 record while competing against some of the toughest competition in the state.
The Scarlet Knights won the NJAC Conference title, finished first in the NJAC Team Tournament, and are currently ranked in the state.
At the core of the team is a talented and determined group of girls who continue to grow and face competition head-on. The team is led by seniors Sophia Salazar, Daniela Hidalgo, Valeria Elao, Genesis Perez, Izvella Avila, along with junior Emelly Diaz Santos.
The East Brunswick Girls Wrestling team has put together an outstanding 15–2 season, proving themselves as one of the top programs in the area. After dropping matches during the opening week of dual meets, the Bears have been dominant ever since, remaining unbeaten in dual competition the rest of the way. Their hard work and consistency led to a Runner-Up finish at the GMC Tournament for the third year in a row.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Rachel Daddio, alongside Assistant Coaches Steve Roy and Joe McArdle, the team has built a culture of toughness, accountability, and resilience. Senior captains Marisol Torra and Emily Cuomo have set the tone with their leadership and work ethic, while state place winner Olivia Mitchell continues to anchor the lineup with experience and poise.
Key contributions have also come from sophomore Adriane Patino, freshman Leilanni Huggins, and senior Faith Marie Soto, each stepping up in big moments and helping secure critical team victories throughout the season. Despite battling injuries that kept multiple starters sidelined for the entire season, the Bears never made excuses. Instead, they embraced the challenge, with athletes rising to the occasion and depth proving to be a strength.
With momentum on their side, East Brunswick now sets its sights on closing out the season strong. The Bears are determined to add a few more wins—and some hardware in Atlantic City—to cap off an already impressive year.
The Hillsborough High School Girls Wrestling Team has quickly grown in just a few years. Charlida Cimino, Jayla Hidalgo, and Maria Imhauser signed up for wrestling two years ago for the 2023/2024 season, and since then, numbers have increased from just three to now twenty girls on the roster. This is the first season recognized as its own team separate from the boys, and the Boro Girls are taking full advantage, compiling a 14-4 dual record with some big wins and close losses along the way. The team took 3rd Place at the 2025 Old Bridge Ron Mazzola Tournament, 2nd Place at the 2026 Elizabeth Lady Minutemen Tournament, and 1st Place at the 2026 Girls Skyland Conference Tournament. Maria Imhauser is now a 3x Skyland Conference Champ, Sam Cali Champ, Elizabeth Lady Minutemen Champ, and Escape The Rock Bronze Medalist. Charlida Cimino is the first female wrestler in Hillsborough HS history in the 75 Win Club. All of the girls are looking forward to making some noise at their first ever Girls Sectional Tournament, and then they will be continuing their post-season pursuits of being the first ever female District Champs, Region Champs, State Qualifiers, and State Champs in Hillsborough HS history.
The Gloucester Lady Lions picked up where they left off last year after graduating three key seniors. Head coach Fran Smythe and assistant coach Jeff Jarrell lead the team, which is currently ranked 4th in New Jersey with a 16-2 record as they head into the playoffs. Throughout the season, the Lady Lions proved their strength with a challenging schedule by beating several highly ranked teams, with their only losses coming against #1 Jackson and #2 High Point at the time. They finished second at Queen of the East, first at the Colonial Conference Championships, in the top four at Queen of the Hill, and tenth at Escape the Rock.
This impressive season is fueled by a dedicated group of wrestlers, led by captains Alexis Nelson (ranked #5 in South Jersey), Madeline Boyd, and Gabbie Maldonado (ranked #5 in New Jersey). Several other girls are ranked among the top five in South Jersey as well. The senior leaders (Alexis Nelson, Gabbie Maldonado, Naomi Walker, Destiny Torres, Adriana Connelly, Destiny Arenz, and Emma Renard) have shaped the team with their experience and leadership.
The girls have demonstrated remarkable growth, determination, and resilience throughout the season. They have faced challenges both on the mat and in their personal lives, but they never give up. They remain focused and are ready to compete for the state championship next week.
None of this would be possible without the incredible support from the community, school administration, fans, families, and most importantly, the girls themselves for having the willingness to learn and be better every day.
The High Point Regional High School girls wrestling team has put together an impressive 2025–26 season, compiling a 12–3 record, and is continuing to build momentum as the season continues.
After laying a solid foundation in recent years, the Wildcats have carried that progress into this winter, showing consistency, toughness, and steady improvement across the lineup.
High Point is led by two returning state champions: junior Ella Poalillo, who remains unbeaten at 23–0, and sophomore Elle Changaris, who holds a 25–1 record. Both wrestlers have dominated their respective weight classes and have been key contributors to the team’s success.
While the roster features many underclassmen, the team has developed strong chemistry throughout the season. Coaches say the group’s work ethic and willingness to support one another have translated directly into results on the mat.
With continued growth and experience, High Point hopes to finish the season strong and further establish itself as a competitive force in girls' high school wrestling.
The Old Bridge Lady Knights have wrestled to a 14-5 record on the season. Coach Jake Wiatroski has led the girls this season .They began the year by winning the Newton Duals and the Ron Mazzola Memorial Tournament team championship. They were ranked as high as #5 in NJ. After enduring several injuries, the Lady Knights have finished 7-1 in their final 8 matches. They are led by GMC Champion 145 pounder Abby McSorley, senior captain and 2025 state place winner Sofia Sousa, and team leading 22-match winner Madison Magrino. Freshmen Leandra Berisha (120/126), Izabella Quintella (132), Vanessa Taborda (138), and Isabella Kay (152) have all made immediate impacts.
The PCTI Bulldogs are located in Wayne, NJ, but accept students from all over Passaic County. The 3rd year program has a roster of more than 40 female wrestlers, and is dedicated to helping these student athletes grow both on and off the mat.
This year, the Bulldogs are led by Senior Captains, Athena Galindo and Victoria Frias, working along side Head Coach Dan Smith, and multiple assistant coaches. As a team they wrestled almost 30 dual meets and competed in tournaments and jamborees. Through hard work and perseverance, they recorded more than 20 team victories for the 25’-26’ season, are excited to represent their school in NJ’s first official team state tournament.
Jefferson Sparta is a first year co-op program with 10 girls from both Jefferson and Sparta. We have girls ranging from first year wrestlers up to returning state place winners. The team has a record of 8-5 having beaten some well established teams and being competitive in their losses
The team is led by seniors Paige Weiss (29-4), Reilly Callan (12-13), Alexa Scholz (16-7), nad Sophomore Alyssa Aiello (23-7). The girls have greatly enjoyed coming together as a team and being able to compete in a dual meet environment. With several girls being new to wrestling the future looks great for the Jefferson Sparta team. The girls look forward to being able to compete in the state tournament.
The Elizabeth Lady Minutemen are currently at 12-5, a massive improvement from the 9-9 effort and a testament to the strength of the girls leading this team. Under Head Coach Mike Luna, Elizabeth has been able to climb to a program best 16th ranking in the state. Through a barrage of tournaments showcasing some of the state’s toughest girls, the Lady Minutemen have collectively come away with 11 top 3 place winners as well as six first place finishes in the Lady Lions, Lady Minuteman, and Union County Championships. Led by Captains Angelina Mejia and Valeria Ramirez, this iteration of the team sees a playoff berth when last year, they had a difficult time filling each weight class. Even with Ramirez and Mejia’s departure after the conclusion of this season, the Lady Minutemen have seen massive impacts by Freshman and Sophomore athletes at 100 pounds’ Mia Meneses, 145 pounds’ Ebu Moore, and 165 pounds’ Alani Jackson--all performances that promise a competitive future for the Elizabeth Girls Wrestling team for years to come.
The Mount Olive Marauders finished their regular season 14-4 and have wrestled against some of the best competition in the state. They placed 3rd in the NJAC Championships behind Morris Hills and High Point, finished 2nd in the NJAC American Division, and finished in the top 10 at the Bloomfield, Lady Minutemen, and Sam Cali Tournaments. The Marauders are led by seniors Molly Smyth (27-5), Claire Carey (11-6), and Robexy Melendez-Sanchez (11-12), Juniors: Mia Capone, Belinda Minervini, Skylar Sostak, Kiana Hernandez, Lily Forgatch, Sophomores: Samantha Oblen, Kyara Chiminazzo De Freitas, Kayla Paez, and Freshman: Ayonna Campbell, Gianna Wilkinson, Ava Drew, Sayde Hagensen, Lianna Narcise, Mia Guillen, and Dannica Bianculli have all competed hard this season and have added great depth to the lineup. The Marauders are coached by Jeremy Mayer and Mike Lyons.
The Kingsway Girls Wrestling Team has continued to strengthen its program during the 2025–26 season through hard work, resilience, and competitive growth. Facing a challenging schedule, the Dragons have earned key dual meet victories, developed depth across weight classes, and demonstrated steady improvement throughout the year. Individual standout performances have complemented a strong team culture built on support, determination, and sportsmanship. As part of a growing and increasingly competitive girls wrestling landscape in New Jersey, Kingsway proudly carries forward the school’s established wrestling tradition. Heading into NJSIAA Team Sectionals, the Dragons proudly represent a commitment to excellence and competing at their highest level.
